Bevelling: unlock all the steps behind the 55 hand-polished inner angles of the GP01800 caliber

STEP 1: THE PREPARATION The most delicate parts of the skeletonized mainplate that risk being damaged by some of the surface treatment are protected before sandblasting. STEP 2: THE BEVELLING A mechanical tool creates the 55 inner angles which are then revealed one by one by hand-polishing using a wodden stick with fine diamond pastes. STEP 3: THE FINISHING The final circular satin finish is applied on the maniplate to add contrast and depth, and to allow for the brilliance of the bevelling work to come out. STEP 4: THE ASSEMBLY The complexity of the movement is showcased through a real layer cake, bringing out the best out of every component.
